We were contacted by a homeowner in White Plains who wanted to bring their mid-century home up to speed with the contemporary ones surrounding it. What used to be a cozy and homey wood-facade structure had become dated and dreary. Our team worked with Soglia Design to transform the home and its exterior into a sleek and modern pad with retro design details.
Our renovation plan included a new facade and exterior, two bedrooms, living room, dining room, office, foyer, new floors, back deck and entrance/exit ways. A masonry fireplace and custom lighting bring a warm, polished feel to the space. We added new custom doors with black/gray accent trims and custom bronzeware for aesthetics, durability and function. Tying the modern and retro looks together is the salvaged and repurposed planking used to create a new office and great room space.
